Objective - To identify student members of NACMA who desire to attend the annual convention in Dallas, TX, June 9-12, 2008. NACMA seeks individuals who want to advance their collegiate marketing career, enhance professional ability to raise funds for their institution, and create valuable networking opportunities with numerous collegiate marketing administrators.

Goal - To increase the number of student members in NACMA and the number of students attending the NACMA Convention in Dallas.

Requirements for Nominees:

• Must be a current dues paying member of NACMA
• Ambition must involve collegiate marketing responsibilities
• Must be nominated by a faculty/staff member of a NCAA or NAIA recognized institution. Preferred to have recommendation from a sports administration faculty/staff member.

Selection Criteria:

• Recommendation information
• If possible, the applicant(s) will represent different geographic regions
• Consideration will be given to ethnicity and gender
• Can only be awarded stipend once every 3 years

The stipend shall include:

• 2008 Convention Registration
• The cost of lodging (room and tax only) and/or airfare to be reimbursed by the Association after the Convention
• Recipients will be reimbursed for stipend after the 2008 Convention up to $750.
