Director of Physical and Health Education

Currently I am the head of the physical, health, and developmental education department for a private elementary school for learning disabled children.

Duties include:

  • Teaching, coordinating, and implementing a dynamic physical and health science educational curriculum for all students' grades K-8th.
  • Conduct fitness assessments to maintain and develop optimal heath for all students
  • Develop exercise programs for maximum fitness effectiveness.
  • Utilize a positive "hands-on" approach in classroom activities

    From 2003-2004 I served as the assistant cross-country coach for California Baptist University. My main area of responsible was the general operations and promotion for Men and Women Cross Country programs.

    For eight years I worked both full and part time as the director of landscaping and athletic facilities maintenance for Arrowhead Christian Academy, a private college prep high school in Redlands California. I also served as the Director of varsity, jr. varsity, and middle school cross country and track & field programs (2002-2003).

    My duties Included:
  • Developed & managed maintenance and operational plans
  • Maintained fifty acres of school grounds including a twenty thousand square foot arena.
  • Managed part-time staff and volunteers
  • Maintained landscape operations & budget
  • Managing and maintaining a twenty thousand square foot arena and supervision of subsequent athletic programs and support staff.
  • Managed and coached the Jr. High and High School boys and girls cross country and track & field programs. My coaching duties included planning, scheduling, and running all training programs and practices, hosting league meets and working with media relations for the teams.
