Livermore Area Recreation & Park District (LARPD) Pool Manager (Summer 2006 - Present)

  •  Responsible for managing approximately 100 staff members at two facilities

  • Develop new policies (such as attendance policies, and management organization)

  • Attend meetings with supervisors

  • Plan staff trainings, staff events, and daily schedules

  • Handle complaints and concerns from the public, along with general office work

  • Instruct water fitness classes

  • Approximately 100+ eighth grade graduates tour Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas for eight days. Each chaperone has the responsibility of taking care of twelve students. Chaperones are also responsible for sparking interest in the history of our country and teaching students about our present day government.
