Assistant Director of Development - Athletics

Marquette University is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Development - Athletics.

This full time position will have broad responsibilities in fund raising, cultivation and stewardship for Marquette University intercollegiate athletics. Direct responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide leadership regarding the athletic priority point system and reseating process
  • Oversee the management of the preferred seating season ticket holder program
  • Serve as a primary contact for donor inquiries relating to contributions, priority points and ticket questions
  • Serve as the department's main contact with University Advancement and Ticket Office for all reporting needs for the athletic development office
  • Serve as the primary liaison from the athletic department to the M Club, the alumni letter-winners organization
  • Communication and stewardship coordinator
  • Assist the special events office with various fundraising events (golf outings, annual auction, Chicago tip off dinner, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

    Bachelor's degree required, masters preferred. Past work experience in intercollegiate athletic development, fund raising, marketing, ticketing or related field required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Computer competency with Microsoft Office applications required, ticketing and fundraising applications preferred.
