The University of Missouri, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is now accepting applications for the full time, benefit eligible position of Director of Development - Donor Services. This position will be responsible for coordinating fund raising for student-athlete scholarships, facilities, individual sports, donor benefits, and gift-in-kind; identifying, cultivating and solicitation of new donors in assigned regions as well as stewardship of existing donors in those areas; coordinates and provides stewardship for donor parking and priority seating benefits; assists with planning and follow through with various integrated programs (Tiger Scholarship Fund and Capital Campaign) and other development activities designed to increase the visibility of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the University among internal and external constituencies, including alumni, corporate and foundation contacts, the business community and others; coordinates and directs multiple Department of Athletics special events including, but not limited to, donor functions, reunions and concerts; facilitates personal contact and visitation by coahces and department personnel with current and potential donors.Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary; two years of professional experience in development, public realtions, marketing, banking or related field.
