The University of Virginia's Department of Athletics is seeking qualified candidates for two Academic Coordinator positions in the Academic Affairs Office.

Master's; Bachelor's degree with significant experience in lieu of Master's degree will be considered. Preference will be given to educational training in counseling, higher administration, and/or a related field. Experience working in academic advising and the ability to work with diverse populations of faculty, staff, and students is preferred. Candidates must have demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. The successful candidates will be individuals of integrity with high educational standards and possess a solid commitment to academic integrity, the welfare of student-athletes, and full compliance with NCAA and institutional rules and regulations.

Responsibilities include: monitoring academic progress of student-athletes; advising and counseling student-athletes; coordinating programs and services; monitoring academic eligibility; and maintaining accurate and complete records.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
