Ticket Sales Representative Internships

Term of Employment:  June - December

Summary

The Ticket Sales Representatives will be responsible for maximizing attendance and revenue for Husky Athletics by selling various ticket products, with an emphasis on football.  Interns will participate in a thorough sales training program and gain valuable hands-on sales experience.  Sales internships are part-time positions with no University of Washington benefits or credits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Primary focus is selling Husky Football Season Tickets, Mini Plans, and Group Tickets

  •   Contact past customers and cold-call qualified sales leads to generate new sales

  •   Build rapport with prospects and customers and recognize future sales opportunities

  •   Pursue prospective customers 
  •   Provide excellent customer service

  •   Assist in miscellaneous duties upon request

    Qualifications and Requirements

  •   Available to work 40 hours per week for a six month period from June to December

  •   Candidates should be computer proficient, detail oriented, and enthusiastic about working within a sport-related environment

  •   Prior telemarketing or call center experience preferred but not required

  •   Have a friendly and professional telephone manner

  •   Excellent communication skills (both verbal and writing) and listening skills

  •   Display a genuine desire to help people

  •   Ability to work well with others and independently

  •   Demonstrate a positive attitude

  •   Passion for Husky Athletics a plus

    Compensation

    Hourly wage plus a competitive commission structure
