Director of youth baseball and basketball for Vinton County for 8 years.
Director and coordinator of community service program in connection with Vinton Co. Juvenile Services and The Vinton County Dept. of Job and Family Services for 5 years.
Member of Ohio Turfgrass Management Association-experienced in field maintenance/design/repair. Including complete renovation of park diamonds and design of school fields and locker room facilities at the high school.
Chairman of McArthur Village Park and Recreation Board for 4 years. Tripled annual budget, acquired grants for new facilities, developed long-term and short-term goals for the park.
Developed archives, website, and team history for Boys and Girls basketball since the schools inception in 1966. Also, worked to create guidelines and criteria for schools' Hall of Fame.
Youth Camp work at Kent State University, Ohio University, Dublin Coffman and Jackson HS.
2005&2007: Sectional Basketball Champions, only the 3rd and 4th in school history.
Recorded schools first wins over a ranked opponent(1-2006, 3-2007)
2007: District Runner-Up, best record in school history-winningest senior class in school history-set team and individual records in 14 categories. District 13 Coaches Association Coach of the Year. 2008: 17-4 record, Conference Champions, Coach of the Year.
Currently the winningest baseball coach in school history.
