Slippery Rock University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference, invites applications for a full-time Assistant to the Athletic Director for Compliance beginning May 2008.  The position offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities: Organize and implement all aspects of a successful NCAA rules compliance and education program, certify student-athlete eligibility and financial aid limits, process Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse reports and NCAA squad lists, complete NCAA graduation and retention reports, provide oversight of NCAA responsibilities and activities with in the institution, assist with event management of select games, assist with fundraising activities as needed, and other duties assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in the following areas required: NCAA Compliance Software (including conducting NCAA rules compliance education program, processing eligibility reports for both freshmen through the Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse and transfer students, monitoring and updating NCAA squad lists, completing NCAA graduation and retention reports), certification and monitoring of student-athlete eligibility. Experience working with diverse populations required. Demonstration of strong organizational, communication and time management skills required.
