Baldwin-Wallace College invites applications and nominations for the position of Athletic Director.  Located in Berea, Ohio, B-W is a member of NCAA Division III and offers 11 varsity sports for men and 10 for women. A member of the Ohio Athletic Conference, the College enrolls 4,400 undergraduate and graduate students and has a long-standing tradition of academic and athletic excellence.

The Athletic Director reports to the Senior Vice President and is a member of the B-W President's Leadership Council. The AD will provide leadership for a successful athletic program and is responsible for strategic planning, management, budgeting and personnel decisions in athletics. The AD also represents the College and department to internal and external constituencies of the College and must be an articulate spokesperson about the role of intercollegiate athletics in supporting the B-W mission. The person must successfully collaborate with various offices including enrollment management, student affairs, alumni and development, and college relations, to achieve institutional goals and objectives. The director coordinates the oversight of academic progress of student-athletes and is responsible for compliance with College, conference and NCAA regulations.

Requirements
A Master's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years of successful experience in athletic administration are required. Preference will be given to demonstrated success as an administrator in a Division III environment. The successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations as well as demonstrated experience in leadership, budgeting and personnel management in athletics. A personal commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy about the role and value of intercollegiate athletics in a student's educational experience is required and the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a commitment to diversity including gender equity among student-athletes and coaching staff.
