International Tennis Hall of Fame, Summer 2007

  • Aided in the development of new promotional materials.
  • Worked with media representatives (tv/radio/print/web) during the Campbell's Hall of Fame ATP tournament.
  • Prepared player information/bio stats/records/match stats/general info for the media during Campbell's Hall of Fame ATP tournament.

    Assistant Women's Varsity Volleyball Coach

    University of Rhode Island, Fall 2006

  • Responsible for the development of athletes associated with a Division I NCAA Volleyball program which included monitoring their academic progress, providing one-on-one instruction, and fostering parent/student/coach relationships.
  • Responsible for tape exchange, scouting opponents, development and implementation of tactical and technical training sessions.
  • Assisted in budget preparation and coordination of travel plans.

    Tuition Management Systems, Spring 2006

  • Served as a customer service representative for Tuition Management Systems (TMS), the mission of which is to provide payment plans and low interest loans to students and families of college and K-12 schools.
  • Counseled families on federal education loans for parents and students, affordable private loans through TMS, as well as other "top rated" private financing options.

    Undergraduate Leadership and Involvement

    Semester at Sea, Fall 2005

  • Participated in Semester at Sea, a study abroad program designed to incorporate a global semester in your undergraduate experience.
  • Traveled to countries such as Venezuela, Brazil, South Africa, India, Vietnam, China, and Japan. Walked the Great Wall, played futbol in Brazil, conversed with monks in Vietnam, tasted the best sashimi ever in a hole in the wall in Japan, and formed life long friendships.

    Varsity Volleyball Team, University of Rhode Island, 2001 - 2005

  • Awarded a 4 year full scholarship.
  • Devoted 20-30 hours weekly to practices and competitions.
  • Elected Captain for the Spring and Fall 2004 seasons; Directed team-building activities in and out of practice; Served as liaison between 12 team members and coach.

  • Member of group that consists of student-athletes and their supporters.
  • Volleyball Team Representative, 2001 - 2005 Spotlight Coordinator, August 2002 - May 2003; organized and marketed recognition of overlooked athletic events.
  • Life-Skills Coordinator, October 2003 - June 2004; represented student athletes and SAAC to the NCAA recognized program, which works to collaborate with and to develop student-athletes by utilizing campus and community resources.
  • Secretary, August 2004 - June 2005; Created and maintained a mailing list of student athletes and team representatives; Sent out a biweekly summary of SAAC accomplishments and endeavors to members.
