Sean Frazier was named Associate Athletics Director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August of 2007. His duties include oversight of men's and women's hockey, event management, and food and beverage.
Prior to joining UW, Frazier was the Director of Athletics at Merrimack College. In his position, he was responsible for the operations of Merrimack College's athletics department, which currently sponsors 16 intercollegiate varsity sports. Frazier came to Merrimack following a stint as the Athletics Director at Clarkson University. He also served as Director of Athletics at Manhattanville College.
A four-year member of the football team and a graduate of the University of Alabama, Frazier participated in the Fiesta Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Sun Bowl and also helped the Crimson Tide capture a Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championship.
From there, Frazier coached football at Boston University before earning his master of arts in education: Higher Ed./Ed. leadership Administration from the University of Maine. At Maine, he was also a recipient of the University's Thurgood Marshall Graduate Scholarship.
A native of Centerport, N.Y., Frazier and his wife Rosa have two children: a daughter, Marina, and a son, Maximo. |
