Lori Ebihara Position: Assistant Commissioner Institution: Big 12 Conference

Lori Ebihara is the Assistant Commissioner for Governance and Compliance at the Big 12 Conference.

Prior to joining the Big 12 Conference in 1996, she served as the Compliance/Legislative Assistant for the Big Eight Conference for three years and she also completed the Ethnic Minority Internship at the NCAA national office.

Lori served a four-year term on the NCAA Division I Academic/Eligibility/Compliance Cabinet and she has also served on the NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee.

Lori currently is a member of the NCAA Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct Committee. During her time at the Big 12 Conference, Lori has twice served in a co-chair role for the Collegiate Commissioners Association Compliance Administrators group and participates as an NCAA Division I Athletics Certification peer-reviewer.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Lori received a bachelor's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University and completed master's course work in education at Ashland University.
