Katie Louis, a native of O'Fallon, Illinois, graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a bachelor of science in marketing in 2006. While at Southern Illinois, Louis was a member of the women's varsity softball team which won back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference Championships and participated in four NCAA Regional Tournaments. She was Rookie of the Year, a two-time First Team All-MVC selection, a CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V honoree, and an All-MVC Scholar Athlete. Louis was also an active member on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years.

After completing her eligibility, Louis worked in the athletics department at Southern Illinois as a graduate assistant in student services. As a graduate assistant, Louis helped with community service projects, academic advising, compliance and promotions/event planning. In addition, she did color commentary on the radio for SIU softball.

Louis will be working with CABMA, NAAC, NATYCAA and the FCS. She will also be working with the Coca-Cola Community All-American awards. She can be reached at katiel@nacda.com.
